The body of the lamps have a Type III hard anodized finish and are waterproof by the terms of the IPX-8 standard.
The E15 is powered by a CR123A battery and the digitally regulated output maintains constant brightness at 3 different brightness levels. The XP-E LED module from Cree reaches a brightness of up to 170 lumens and with a length of 60mm not only fits into every bag or backpack, but also fits onto every keychain.
